Imagine a house where the owners are loudly arguing about the color of the curtains and the utility bill, while the foundation cracks, inch by inch, under the weight of time and neglect.

This is Romania, after all. We argue over surgical or cosmetic solutions for budgetary deficits; we „crochet” optimistic economic forecasts on paper; we sketch investment plans with a pen and quarrel over money pumped to town halls and county councils. But if our streets become increasingly empty, if villages remain mere museums of old age, and if universities continue to export graduates directly to the airport boarding gates, then we have failed as a society.
