"We are in a window of opportunity. We have everything we need to be able to think of Romania's development on an energy sector that ensures the security of energy supply. Romania has an attribute that it has to play very wisely, that of becoming a real energy producer using its own resources and reducing its dependence on imports," says Daniel Apostol, Director General of the Federation of Oil and Gas Employers - FPPG, in an interview with InvesTenergy.

"I see natural gas as an attribute of Romania that gives meaning to the desire to become independent of imports. Why import natural gas when you have the natural resources and we have major investment projects that will make Romania the main producer of natural gas in the European Union in 2-3 years, when Neptun Deep is going to supply natural gas molecules into the network, literally," says Daniel Apostol.
