On the occasion of the Oil Day, the Oil and Gas Employers' Federation (FPPG) sends its thanks and appreciation to all professionals working in the oil sector, an essential field for Romania's development and energy security. This day is dedicated to those who, through their efforts, contribute to the supply of energy resources necessary for the economy and daily comfort of Romanians.
Over the years, oil has played an important role in economic development, innovation and expansion of the national energy infrastructure. Oil industry professionals have sustained a sector that provides jobs and contributes to the country's energy security.
In this context, the FPPG wishes "Happy birthday!" to all employees in the oil and gas industry, recognizing their professionalism, commitment and perseverance. Your innovation and support in the energy transition, building on existing knowledge and adapting to a changing global environment is crucial, and you are the foundation for it.
Daniel Apostol, Director General of FPPG, underlines the importance of the energy transition and the role of specialists in adapting to new technological challenges:
"The times we are living in are a real professional challenge for Romanian oil and gas professionals, once world pioneers in the exploitation and utilization of crude oil and natural gas. Today, the energy transition means adopting new technologies, transforming economic sectors and business lines. But the energy transition also brings with it a transformation of the workforce, a process of modernization. I am convinced that the Romanian oil companies will go through the energy transition process with their heads held high and will make a very successful contribution to transforming the national economy in line with European ideals and objectives."
