Europe talks about electrification as an inevitable destiny.
On paper, the future is already written: electric vehicles, heat pumps, data centers, green hydrogen. Many voices are heralding us into the age of electricity, talking passionately about the energy transition that will make our world a better place. But the silence is heavy on the insecurity of energy supply and the fragility of our own grids - an increasingly real risk threatening the continent. Not for lack of technology, but mainly for lack of decisiveness, coherence and speed of action in the midst of geopolitical turbulence.
