On October 20, 2019, the weighted average prices for day ahead (78.65 lei/MWh) and intraday (68.12 lei/MWh) were below 80 lei/MWh, showing an obvious downward trend.
Following the introduction of the gas price of 68 lei/MWh, both suppliers and producers, in expectation of a better price in the cold season, preferred to store gas from domestic production.
