On the occasion of the event marking 110 years of history in the production of natural gas in Romania, FPPG welcomes Romgaz among its members.
Romgaz is today the largest producer and main supplier of natural gas in Romania, with the Romanian state as its main shareholder with a 70% stake. Thus, FPPG legitimately represents more than 90% of the Romanian natural gas production sector in relations with all stakeholders.
“It is a joy for our team to announce the strengthening of the federation by the presence in its ranks of a company of the size and importance of Romgaz. It is not by chance that Romgaz is joining the Oil and Gas Employers” Federation, marking 110 years of existence, and finds here friends, industry colleagues and reliable partners in the development of projects of common interest. We are together here in Mediaș to mark 110 years of history in the field of natural gas production as we will be together in representing the natural gas production and supply industry, a strategic part of the entire Romanian energy system", says Franck Neel, FPPG President.
