The energy industry is one of the industries that built modern Romania. With over a century of tradition and a key role in the functioning of the economy, energy today means infrastructure, investment, technology and strategic projects. But beyond all that, energy is people.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We rarely see them. They do not appear in statistics or in discussions about production or consumption. And yet, through their day-to-day work, energy reaches our homes, sustains hospitals, schools, industry and all economic life. It is those people who choose this field, learn it and carry it forward every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this in mind, FPE (Federa\u021bia Patronal\u0103 a Energiei) launched the campaign\u201eI am the energy of the country\u201d<\/strong>, a communication initiative on social media and dedicated page,<\/a><\/strong> which brings the people behind the sector into the spotlight. The campaign was born out of the need to make their contribution more visible and to create a bridge between the public and those who keep a vital sector of the country's economy running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201eI am the energy of the country\u201d<\/strong> brings forward professionals at different points in their careers. From specialists with over 30 or 40 years of experience, who have lived through the transformation of the industry and directly contributed to its stability, to young people at the beginning of their career, who took their first steps through internships and chose to stay and contribute further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stories are many and varied. About choice, perseverance, professionalism and evolution. About people who grew up in an environment where energy was part of everyday life and decided to continue along this path, but also about young people who discovered this field out of curiosity and found meaning in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Angela Mare\u0219, for example, joined the refinery at the beginning of her career and, in just a few years, with enthusiasm and dedication, she ended up working as a Senior Expert Process Engineer. For her, every day means analysis, responsibility and decisions that matter. At the other end of the spectrum, George Voicil\u01ce has more than three decades of experience and speaks about the profession with the same clarity and respect, being part of the generation that built the foundation on which the industry thrives today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are stories that pass from generation to generation. Robert, a student at Petrol-Gas University, chose this path inspired by the example of his father, a miner for over 30 years. For him, energy is not just a field of study, but a legacy of values such as discipline, responsibility and respect for work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also have examples that show that inspiration can be born between close generations. Iulia, a drilling engineer, and her younger sister, Stefania, a student in the same specialization, who demonstrate that energy is also about inspiration and the courage to pursue a career modeled on the success of someone you love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An important part of the campaign is demystifying perceptions about the energy sector.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There is still a preconceived idea that a field is reserved for a certain generation or a certain professional profile. That it is a rigid industry without diversity or opportunities for young people. The reality is different. Today, energy is a field in which people from different generations, women and men, professionals just starting out and experts with decades of experience, work. It is a field where continuous learning, adaptation and collaboration are essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond this human component, the campaign aims to promote a healthier understanding of the concept of economic patriotism.<\/strong> As part of the campaign, Federa\u021bia Patronal\u0103 a Energiei also launched Guide to Healthy Economic Patriotism and Sustainable Development<\/strong><\/a>, The energy sector in the EU's energy sector, which explains how value is built in the economy and the role of investment, companies and people in the development of the energy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Healthy economic patriotism<\/strong> means, in essence, to understand and appreciate the real contribution of those working in Romania, but at the same time, it means recognizing that the progress in this field is also supported by the investment, expertise and technology brought by international companies. This balance between local competence and global know-how is essential for the sustainable development of the Romanian energy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stories featured in the campaign reflect this reality. They are examples of a living, evolving industry, with each generation contributing to what is to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Federa\u021bia Patronal\u0103 a Energiei, the \u201cI am the country's energy\u201d campaign is an important step in strengthening confidence in the people and the future of energy in Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
