Oil and Gas Employers Federation<\/strong> continues its consolidation in 2021, welcoming in its ranks a new member, some of the most important companies in the sector, and thus welcomes the recent accession of Hunt Oil Company of Romania. Through sustained efforts, the FPPG currently brings together the main natural gas producers, covering more than 98% of the domestic production, thus attesting its representativeness for the energy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201dThe united voice of the Oil and Gas Employers\u201d Federation is increasingly being heard through our growing membership. This voice is essential for our industry and we need it especially now, when we are facing challenges such as the energy transition, the role of gas in the fuel mix in Romania and new regulations for the free market. Together with another one of the most respected companies on the Romanian oil and gas market and promoting the same climate of cooperation, the federation will strongly support the proposed measures for economic recovery, closely linked to encouraging domestic production of natural resources.\"<\/em>, says Franck Neel<\/strong> - FPPG President.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In the context of the effects of the overlapping international crises that many national economies are going through, we once again draw attention to the fact that Romania still has an opportunity that few countries in Europe have - natural resources.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The development of the sector we represent can only be achieved through legislation that stimulates investment in the exploration and production of resources, by diversifying the natural gas market, increasing the competitiveness and efficiency of the energy sector, while taking care to offer the best conditions for end consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The action plan undertaken by the federation, through the support and active involvement of its members, aims to better align public policies with the need for development of the oil and gas sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201dFrom this fall, together with HOCOR, we will develop a series of activities specific to the federation, in<\/em>n<\/em> increasingly challenging context. As the main representative of industry, FPPG reiterates the inherent nature of transparent dialog between business, public authorities and civil society.
