Therefore, it needs to be covered by a secure resource, such as natural gas, which Romania has.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"GAS ENSURES THE CONTINUITY OF THE ENERGY SYSTEM\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/I8hTW0I1GiY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, we all want to have the cleanest possible energy, produced, if possible, entirely from renewable sources and with no carbon footprint. But until we get there, we will go through a transition, where we will need a resource to ensure that we can continue production smoothly and, more importantly, at sustainable prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this context,&nbsp;<strong>natural gas can support the transition<\/strong>, without a doubt, because there are resources, and investing in their exploitation, especially in the Black Sea, will help us overcome our dependence on coal. This is a fundamental economic advantage which Romania should make the most of. In addition, natural gas can also be used as a very good basis for future technologies, such as, for example,&nbsp;<strong>hydrogen production.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"GAS ESSENTIAL FOR ROMANIA&#039;S ENERGY FUTURE\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bkvYc7hrpvI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moreover, if we refer to&nbsp;<strong>energy security<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>security of supply<\/strong>, a single word is defining:&nbsp;<strong>consistency.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And there is a very fine balance in the way the energy mix is regulated. In terms of the mix between gas, hydro, nuclear and renewables, we are one of the most balanced countries in the EU,&nbsp;<strong>destabilizing this balance<\/strong>, before you have anything to replace it with,&nbsp;<strong>could jeopardize energy security.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the case of renewables, we need energy that can start up as quickly as they stop when the weather changes. That requires continued investment. Those in wind, nuclear and hydro are absolutely necessary, but we cannot forget a huge, cheap and competitive resource at our disposal:\u00a0<strong>gases.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"HOW WE ENSURE OUR ENERGY SECURITY\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JLpruMXUiqc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is true that in recent years&nbsp;<strong>renewable energy<\/strong>&nbsp;has also become much cheaper than it was 10-15 years ago, which has led to increased demand in this direction. But the fundamental problem remains&nbsp;<strong>their discontinuity<\/strong>, which automatically means higher prices for consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is why analysts believe that until there is mass adoption of renewable solutions, natural gas as a transitional source could be a cost-saving source. Of course, the two technologies are not mutually exclusive, so we need to arrive at a healthy energy system so that the average cost of the technologies is acceptable to the end consumer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"WHAT IS CHEAPER? WHAT YOU HAVE OR WHAT YOU WANT?\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/n7f5wo8jeMw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, when we talk about all that the energy transition entails, we cannot not also touch on the jobs situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Oil and Gas Industry employs at least 25 thousand people, horizontally and vertically.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By comparison, new investment in renewables means&nbsp;<strong>new jobs,<\/strong>&nbsp;both in terms of building these capacities and ensuring their operation and operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the renewables side, at the point of investment, there is a higher need to build this capacity, and then for the operation side, things are much simpler, which means fewer jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course a society is based on&nbsp;<strong>cheap energy<\/strong>, but is also based on the fact that&nbsp;<strong>people must have jobs<\/strong>, to earn money to pay for even that cheap energy.
