The conference is attended by policy makers, experts and industry leaders. It is the second day of the forum organized in partnership with the Federation of Oil and Gas Employers (FPPG).

„We are on the second day of the event, and the project we have in the middle of the federation at the moment is called Viitorul Energiei. Well, the future of energy is about explaining how all kinds of technologies work, including established ones like gas, but also new technologies where we need innovation, where we need more support from the authorities and that's happening today. We will discuss ten pillars of energy that we have identified as a federation, technologies, some of them older technologies that have started to be slowly implemented, but others that are still unknown. This is what we aim to do today: to bring as much knowledge as possible to the public so that they can see where we are going.”, said Raluca Covrig, Director of Public Affairs FPPG.

Also, Dumitru Chisăliță, President of the Intelligent Energy Association revealed that the transition to green energy can be made, but under certain conditions that must be respected.

„There is some state, some involvement. In fact, also at the local community level, yesterday, I saw quite a number of prominent figures of local representatives here at this conference. Hence the interest in what the future of energy means, because we can all see that we are in a constant state of change, energy cannot not enter such a phase of change. It is very important that what we do we do on a very good basis, that we build sustainable in the true sense of the word and not necessarily in the sense that has been used lately, which is solid. At the same time, we have to understand that new technologies must be supported, and in order to support new technologies, you always have to go hand in hand for a short or long period with what is already established, both from an economic point of view, so that these technologies can penetrate, and from a security and safety point of view. Because nothing is born overnight, everything is built over time, and to do this job we need a transition that can be made if it is well thought out, if it is well thought out, if we do not follow slogans and clichés and go for engineering elements with solid foundations in the economic and commercial areas”, said Dumitru Chisăliță, president of the Intelligent Energy Association and FPPG expert.

Source: Antena 3 CNN

Crucial discussions about the transition to green and sustainable energy are taking place at the Transylvania Green Energy Forum, held in Cluj-Napoca.
