This is the conclusion of the second day of the Transylvania Green Energy Forum, the biggest event dedicated to green energy, held in Cluj-Napoca.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference organized in partnership with <strong>Oil and Gas Employers Federation,<\/strong> Experts in the field, secretaries of state and MEPs discussed Europe's energy neutrality targets and our country's capacities to join other countries in this endeavor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The transition to green and sustainable energy has for some time now been the main topic of discussion among energy specialists. This is because Europe aims to be as close as possible to energy neutrality by 2050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our country's role is all the more important as the reserves we have allow us to play an important role in the continent's energy market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201e<em>Energy cannot not enter such a phase of change. It's very important that what we do we do on very good foundations, that we build sustainable, sustainable in the true sense of the word<\/em>\"said<strong> Dumitru Chis\u0103li\u021b\u0103, president of the Intelligent Energy Association.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initial electricity demand for hydrogen production will be negligible, but it will increase as we approach 2030 with the large-scale introduction of large-capacity electrolyzers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201e<em>With the gas reserves it has, with the potential reserves of alternative gas, Romania can support these European ambitions of upgrading, but also support industrialization<\/em>\"said <strong>Florin Sp\u0103taru, State Counselor.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If Romania reaches the ambitious target of producing 10 million tons of natural gas in 2030, then our country will cover 141TPTP7T of the EU's total electricity consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.antena3.ro\/economic\/romania-cel-mai-important-producator-gaze-naturale-europa-710436.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Antena 3 CNN<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Romania could become Europe's largest natural gas producer!
